We are 30 days away! Whether you’re flying in or driving to our wedding we just wanted to let you know a few things to prepare ahead.
WHAT TO WEAR
A PROMISE MADE
Friday, October 2nd
Women
A formal midi or floor-length dress. Please ensure shoulders are covered during the church ceremony. Pair with block heels or dressy flats, as thin stilettos may be difficult on certain outdoor surfaces. Suggestion for fall color palette. Patterns okay.
Men
Formal. A dark suit with a crisp dress shirt and tie (optional). Dress shoes and a matching belt to complete the look. Suggestions for colors could be brown, burgundy, charcoal. Patterns okay.
THE AFTERGLOW
Saturday, October 3rd
Women & Men
Casual beach wear. Shorts, skirts, pants, whatever feels right to you. October may require versatile layers, typically weather hovers 65-80°F, which is perfect for t-shirts, but coastal winds and evening drops to mid-50s. Make sure to bring a warm hoodie, jacket, or sweater.
THE CELEBRATION
Sunday, October 4th
Women
A floor-length evening gown, a sophisticated cocktail dress, or an elegant dressy pantsuit. Lean into rich fall colors. Sparkles, glitter, patterns are welcomed. If you plan to dance the night away, bring a comfy pair shoes.
Men

WHAT TO EXPECT
CEREMONY: A RITE OF MARRIAGE
Duration: 30 to 45 minutes
We are delighted to have you with us as we exchange our vows. Our ceremony will be celebrated as a 'Rite of Marriage Outside of Mass’. We are choosing to honor the tradition of a Catholic wedding ceremony through focusing on the shared experience of our vows and commitment. Because this is a shorter, prayer-focused service rather than a full Nuptial Mass, there will be no distribution of Holy Communion. We want everyone to feel included and comfortable, so we will be sharing printed programs to help you easily follow along, understand the flow of the service, and participate in any way you wish.
We are so grateful to have friends and family from many different backgrounds with us, and we look forward to sharing this sacred and joyful moment with every one of you.
COCKTAIL PARTY
Duration: 1.5 hours
Following the ceremony, join us for a fun cocktail party! You can grab some drinks and enjoy delicious Nicaraguan food while checking out and taking photos with a stunning collection of vintage and classic cars, all set to great music and a wonderful atmosphere.

THE BONFIRE
Duration: 3.5 hours
As the day continues, we invite you to unwind around the bonfire. Whether you want to wet your feet, chat by the fire, or grab some pizza, soft drinks, and s'mores, it's all about having a good time. For those feeling a bit more athletic, we’ll also have soccer and volleyballs on hand—expect plenty of music, games, and laughs all around.
THE CELEBRATION
Duration: 7-8 hours
Cocktail hour kicks off with a delightful spread of hors d'oeuvres, drinks, and bubblies, accompanied by talented violin and cello duo playing a beautiful mix of pop and classical pieces. This is a wonderful time to connect, meet family, and soak in the surroundings—we may even join you!
Once cocktail hour concludes, everyone will be guided into the ballroom for our grand entrance and official welcomes. This leads right into dinner and traditional wedding activities, all capped off by a lively dance floor featuring an incredible mix of song requests submitted by you!
