On the horizon

Can you believe we are 14 days away! Sharing a few key updates and reminders as we approach the final countdown. We can’t wait to celebrate with all of you.
It’s Getting Real!
We officially made it official with the paperwork and grabbed our marriage license in San Francisco this week! And all archdiocese documents are finalized! It was such a fun little milestone, though we’re secretly keeping our fingers crossed that the post-wedding bureaucracy is a bit more manageable. The countdown to October is officially on and we are so ready!
Wedding Registry
As most of you know, we’ve spent the last five years putting down roots in the Bay Area. Our cozy apartment—nestled somewhere between rolling clouds and coastal winds—truly has everything we could possibly need (besides a few more feline cuddles).
Instead of a traditional registry of toasters and tea sets, we’re skipping the physical gifts to fund our next big adventure. Every single contribution goes directly toward making sure we have an incredible time away. Honestly, what could possibly be better than knowing our favorite people in the world helped send us off? Packing Early: October in SoCal
You can officially leave the coats. October in Southern California tends to lean on the warmer, sun-drenched side.
By Day: Expect gorgeous, low-to-mid 80s
By Night: Once the sun dips below the horizon, temperatures settle down into a pleasant high-50s to low-60s
Pack your favorite breezy pieces for daytime events, but definitely toss a light jacket, wrap, or cozy layer into your suitcase for the evening events.
From Near and Far
We are endlessly blessed to have our favorite people traveling from all over the map to be with us.
While a crew of you are making the ‘short’ drive down from the Bay Area, others are crossing state lines, across the country, and the Pacific Ocean (Betsukai, Japan):
Arizona, Colorado, Georgia, Illinois,
Louisiana, Nevada, New Jersey,
New Mexico, New York, North Carolina,
Tennessee, and Virginia
Though we will miss our family and friends in Nicaragua, Mexico, Japan, and abroad who aren't able to make the journey this time, our hearts are so full knowing how many of you are coming together to celebrate.
